12. Newsletter

On our website, users are given the opportunity to subscribe to the Theater Bonn newsletter. All we need is the e-mail address of those interested in the newsletter. We inform our subscribers regularly once a month with newsletters. Our newsletters can only be received by the persons concerned if

- the persons have a valid e-mail address and
- the data subjects register to receive the newsletter.

For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent to the email address entered by a data subject for the first time for the newsletter mailing using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation email is used to check whether the owner of the email address as the data subject has authorized the receipt of the newsletter. We store the following data as part of the newsletter subscription:

- E-mail address
- Date of registration
- Date of the opt-in
- Date of the opt-out
- Date of opening a newsletter, user agent, click on links

The e-mail address collected when registering for the newsletter is used exclusively for sending our newsletter. The e-mail address collected as part of the newsletter service will not be passed on to third parties. The subscription to our newsletter can be canceled by the data subject at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data, which the data subject has given us for the newsletter dispatch, can be revoked at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter for the purpose of revoking consent. The revocation causes the subscription to be deleted. The data will continue to be stored for the purpose of verifiability. The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Newsletter tracking:

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic that is embedded in emails that are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This enables a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of our newsletter mailing. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, Theater Bonn can recognize whether and when an e-mail was opened. Such data collected via the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored by us. We evaluate how many newsletters were opened and how often the links were clicked on. Your IP address is not stored during this analysis.

13. Vimeo

To integrate and present video content, our website uses Vimeo plug-ins. This video portal’s provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When users access a page with an integrated Vimeo plug-in, a connection with Vimeo’s servers is generated. This lets Vimeo know which pages you have accessed. Vimeo can see your IP-address even if you are not logged-in to the video portal or have an account with them. Data collected by Vimeo will be transmitted to the video portal’s servers in the US.

Vimeo can associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging-out previously.

Please see Vimeo’s Privacy Policy on vimeo.com/privacy for details on using user data.
