Opernhaus

  • Parkplätze und Zugang

    The Opera House (Großer Saal and Werkstatt) has barrier-free access. Parking spaces for the disabled are available on the upper deck of the underground car park at the Opera House, near the lift. The lift will take visitors to the Box Office Foyer. Members of the Front-of-House staff will take you to the first floor by lift. From there, only Entrance B with access to rows 20 and 21 is barrier-free.

  • Rollstuhlplätze

    The Bonn Opera House and the Bonn Theatre in Bad Godesberg are historic buildings with limited accessibility. Our service teams will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding access to our houses.

     

    The venues at the Bonn Opera House and the Bad Godesberg Theatre are barrier-free accessible. Both the Opera House (up to 3) and the Playhouse (up to 2) have special wheelchair spaces available for visitors. Barrier-free restrooms are also available in both venues. Our evening staff will be happy to provide assistance.

    Please indicate directly when ordering tickets if you require wheelchair seating.

    Due to the special space situation and the closure as well as the expansion of seats, seats for wheelchair users can only be booked at the theater box offices and not in online sales.   • Toiletten

    barrier-free toilets are situated in the Opera house and the Theatre in Bad Godesberg on the ground floors, near the cloakrooms.

  • Hilfe für Hörgeschädigte

    An induction loop is available at the Opera House. The signal can be received with the aid of your own hearing aid. 

  • Surtitles

    During all opera performances surtitles in German & English are displayed above the stage. Musicals are generally without surtitles.

Schauspielhaus

  • Parkplätze und Zugang

    Two disabled-accessible toilets are situated at the corner of Am Kurpark and Am Michaelshof, immediately next to the Schauspielhaus. From there, you can reach the foyer through the side entrance (stage door). The venue Schauspielhaus Bad Godesberg has barrier-free access. There are barrier-free spaces in the front row.

    There are infrared-headphones available at the Schauspielhaus, which can only be used inside the building. They will be handed out against a pawn at the cloakrooms.

    Drama performances are generally without surtitles.

Werkstattbühne

    The Werkstatt has barrier-free access. Parking spaces for the disabled are available on the upper deck of the underground car park at the Opera House, near the lift.

  • Rollstuhlplätze

    There is one wheelchair space available at the Werkstatt.

  • Toiletten

    Unfortunately, there are no disabled-accessible toilets at the Werkstatt. Visitors are welcome to use the disabled-accessible toilets at the Opera House, but only on days when there is an event there. The toilets can be accessed from the outside; visitors are asked to make their way around the building.

  • Surtitle

    Performances at the Werkstattbühne are without surtitles.
